Sam Kelly

Sam joined the Firm in February 2020, after working on a multi-jurisdictional class-action claim at another firm.

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Exeter, reading Ancient History and Archaeology, Sam attended the University of Law where he achieved a distinction in his legal exams.

Sam principally deals with international trade claims for loss and/or damage to both bulk and containerised cargoes. He also has good experience of claims relating to the breach of service agreements, issues surrounding the lawful ownership of vessels, and intellectual property rights over vessel design.

He is experienced in dealing with claims in the London High Court, LMAA arbitration, GAFTA arbitration as well as claims subject to foreign law and jurisdiction.
